Off The Rack

Last week, when all the Christmas glitter dust started to settle, I stole a moment to look through the Design*Sponge At Home book.  I love this idea, sticking a pretty tray under a metal dish rack, rather than the standard issue plastic mat. I got mine at West Elm. It's a quick, cheerful update to the otherwise mundane sink area. 

While I was lazing on the couch reading, I started picturing my house without a tree and the holiday bedazzlement, a clean slate... I will begin taking interior design coursework this month. I'm readying myself for the time when the boys are both in school full time and I am free to really work again. Big stuff, new year.
