People are always asking me what blogs they should read (I mean besides this one) and I usually start listing off the well established names as starter reads, even though I myself don't really visit them as often as I used to. I find that many slightly smaller blogs have more unique projects and recipes. I met so many talented, lesser known bloggers at Alt, and my favorite,favorite was Tiffanie Turner from Corner Blog.
I kind of love everything she does. Her photography is beautiful, and her projects, while easy to replicate are just amazing to look at, I mean check this out. She also has this ongoing series of things to make with a donut pan that has to be seen to be believed.
It may sound corny, but every time I see her work, she makes me want to be more creative, and more meticulous with mine. For me it's not about pleasing fonts or rehashed round-ups of other peoples work. I don't take away from a lot of blogs what I take away from blogs like Corner Blog.
