Sea Change

Over the weekend, Adam took the boys on an all day adventure to the coast to give me some time to prep for Alt. When they returned that evening, ruddy cheeked, in different clothes, Jasper had this large piece of fossilized coral in his hand. We talked about what he could do with it, and came up with the idea of a vessel for our air plants. A boy after my own heart, he decided on the gold, which looks beautiful on our mantel with all of the other metals and glass, especially at night by candlelight. Here's how he did it:
